Chapter 2

Walking through the broad, colorful aisles of the large toy store, Tim couldn’t fight the feelings that were nearly overwhelming him. He had honestly never thought he would find himself doing anything like this. He had never really thought about anything beyond the diapers and goals, his lists and plans.

Just having a Daddy was a vague dream that he had never even defined. Jerked off to, of course, but never planned out and thought could be real. The idea that he would have a man who was a tender lover, attentive boyfriend, and the perfect Daddy wrapped up in a sexy package was unimaginable.

Having any one of those would have made him feel endlessly grateful to the universe, but having a man who would take him for a picnic in the park on one date and on another would make him Mickey-shaped mini-pancakes for breakfast the next morning (because that’s what Cade thought every little man needed from his Daddy) was overwhelming.

Cade seemed to accept and embrace the fantasies that Tim had always thought would scare someone away. The fact that they were pushing a cart filled with blocks and toy cars down an aisle with coloring books and crayons just showed his complete support and acceptance.

After their wonderfully sexy morning in bed, Cade had helped Tim strip off his diaper and then had understandingly let him finish his morning routine with privacy, although he had teased Tim about helping him brush his teeth when he’d heard the sound of his electric toothbrush coming from the bathroom.

At least, he thought Cade was teasing him. The tone of his voice was joking but there was something with a bit more edge in his voice, or maybe he was just hearing things. Tim was just glad that Cade hadn’t been able to see his face, because for some reason, when he pictured Cade standing behind him with his strong arms wrapped around Tim brushing his teeth for him, the idea was more interesting than he’d expected. Not that he was going to tell Cade that. At least not yet, anyway.

Once Tim walked out of the bathroom, still damp from the shower, Cade had assumed his Daddy role again. Cade had picked out an outfit, and it was waiting on the bed beside a brand-new diaper. Cade had led him over and taken the time to finish gently and thoroughly drying him.

Being the center of that much deliberate scrutiny was difficult. It had been so hard to stand still while Cade meticulously ran the towel over his skin. Cade had then lifted him onto the bed and, with a look of loving concentration, spread lotion that had a light, almost baby powder scent all over him before putting a new diaper on.

Knowing that he was going to be wearing the diaper all day had given him conflicted emotions. On one hand, he loved the idea that they were going to play all day and really take the time to explore the lifestyle. On the other hand, they were really going to play all day and explore the lifestyle.
